How we install fibreglass roofs

  1. We start by removing the existing substrate(Existing Roof)
  2. We then inspect the condition of  roof joist repair/replace if necessary
  3. Then install 18mm tongue and groove osb board
  4. Preparation of  the substrate for the installation of the fibreglass roof system begins by installing  fibreglass trims, cutting fibreglass matting to size and then cleaning the  roof of any dust or debris.
  5. Then we mix resin with catalyst and apply to matting remember to use the bubble buster to remove air gaps to get a true adhesion to the osb.
  6. Once the resin is cured,  we then sand down any areas that need to be and apply the UV resistant top coat.
  7. Then we clear away any rubbish and make sure you the customer is happy

How we install rubber roofs

  1. We Strip existing roof substrate to reveal the  roof joist and inspect to see if repairs are required
  2. Install new OSB T&G boards ensuring all nails are hammered in as protruding nails will potentially tear the rubber roof membrane
  3. Lay rubber roof membrane out flat on roof and leave to rest so that any creases are removed
  4. Fold rubber membrane in half or roll up for easier laying and apply glue to substrate, then roll membrane over remembering to brush out any air bubbles, repeat the process for the other side.
  5. Install and fasten trim around edges. Trim off excess membrane.
